Things from the past

Thank you to Brigid for sharing with us some of the objects that you found in your latest dig. We were interested in how you told us that the shops had two jobs hairdresser/ oyster bar, chemist/ dentist and undertaker/ leather worker. The things you showed us were really interesting, and cool that they came from the Strand in Tauranga. We especially liked the tooth paste lid and the teeth.
Our meeting table.
Toothpaste lid.
Smoking pipe.
Button.
Bottle lid.
Old coin from a well. We wondered if the person made a wish.
Human teeth.
Plaster teeth mould.

Harvesting our corn

Room 9 last year planted some seeds. Luckily for us one of the seeds survived. We got to harvest and cooked our corn today. It was very sweet and tender. Thanks to Cherie for the seeds.

Boxes

Instead of sending the big boxes to the recycling Miss Hardley left them out to let our imagination run wild.
