BBQ

Thanks to Nixon, Toby and their mum's for the awesome job they did on the BBQ at junior soccer. If you need some boys to do a BBQ, these two were awesome chefs! 

Harold

We went to visit Harold in the Life Ed truck. Mike, Harold and Tam were teaching us about how our bodies use food and what else we need to be happy and healthy. Toby and Tallulah figured out the puzzle really quickly. 

Measuring

We had fun measuring things from around the room. We first had to figure out where to start and stop measuring. Then we had to decide what to measure with and we had to make sure there were no gaps. We also compared the size of things. James and Bhima tried to see who was taller. Gaylene is the tallest in the class. 

Happy Birthday Serena

Thanks to Serena's whanau for letting us share Serena's Birthday. We loved the food and fun!

Sebana's Adventure

Hi room 9 

We have photos of the crocodile  and snake and the best animal kangaroo. I saw a aboriginal at currumbin they were dancing.🐍 We went up the biggest building in the gold Coast it is the Q1. We went to the 77th floor. The cars and people looked little.

Making Milkshakes

Making Milkshakes.

First we squeezed the milk into the cup.
Miss Hardley put the strawberry mix onto the spoon. Then it dripped into the milk.
Miss Hardley mixed it in with a spoon, and we watched it go pink.
We put our straws in and sipped it up the straw.
"I don't like it." said Damon and he gave his to Azlin.
"It was good." said Cruiz.
"It was really yummy!" said Nixon.
"It was yum, I had Serena's too." said James
"It was nice." Said Azlin.
We folded our milk and did our dishes.

sebana is on holiday in Australia for four weeks. We all hope you are having a great time!

Class Trip To The Beach

Class trip to the beach.

While we were at the beach we saw 3 orca's. We made patterns and had fun together! Nice to see Nixon's dogs too. 

Ayla -"When I was at the beach I saw 3 killer whales splashing in and out of the water. The water looked really nice. There was a man out there."

Toby- "There were three killer whales and there were lots of sticks.There was a man going surfing."

Azlin -"I saw a whale!"

Nixon - "I saw my Mum and the dogs they are so cute. I really wish I could see them now."

Taylan -"I saw killer whales they were jumping up and down. I saw the water coming out of it's back."

Manawa - "The killer whales were splashing and water came out of their whole in their backs."

JayJay - "We went to the beach. We saw killer whales, they were splashing out water out of their backs."

Bhima - "There were three killer whales at the beach. They were jumping up and down and spraying water out of their blow holes. I would swim with the whales."

James - "I made a pattern. I used shells and rocks and seaweed."

Cruiz- "I see the whales."

Millo - " I saw the whales splashing around."

Tallulah - "On the way I saw a crab crawling."

Anna May - "Leila and I made a pattern. We used shells, seaweed and rocks."

Easter bunny baskets

Today we made our Easter Bunny Basket. We followed a lot of instructions and can't wait to see what surprises come into our baskets.

Fractions Toast

Today we cut toast into 1/2 half and 1/4 quarters. What a yum maths lesson!
