G. G. G. Guacamole

Today we were focusing on the sound g for our phonics.

Liam brought in some yummy avocado's from his Grandads orchard.

It was fun mashing up the avocado and tasting the Tabasco sauce!

We all liked the guacamole and corn chips.

Congratulations to Maddie who won the most wacky child and Miss Hardley the wackiest teacher.
Happy Birthday Dr Seuss on the 2nd of March. We love his books.

 

M Discovery

Every Monday afternoon we have Discovery Time. We needs as many parents as we can to help be at stations.  Discovery starts at 1.15pm in the Cove.

This discovery the focus was M and problem solving .
Our activities included... mazes, making music, making mice, marble run, marble paintings...

The Boat

This week we read the shared book The Boat.
On Friday we made our own boats and shared them with our syndicate at assembly.
On Monday we had a boat race during our swimming time.
We were amazed at how well our designs worked... there were not too many crashes, but then some started to sink.

S Discovery

Our activities included... sunflower painting, sharing the cars and buildings, creating spiders, superheroes dress ups and a few others.
